I just read an article that the President Obama and family have decided not to use the money given them to remodel the White House. Usually, each Presidential Family receives $100K to remodel, re-decorate as they see fit, but the President announced that they would not be using that money, nor the tax payers money.

Instead, they will use money out of their own pocket to fix up whatever they need to in the White House.

I applaud the President in making such a grand decision in the mist of a unstable economy.

And with each new renovation, a general contractor is happy (it keeps us all in business).
