I can’t help but notice that everyone around me seems to be involved in this home renovation and home improvement craze. It’s really not that I don’t like the idea of seeing my place have a face lift, rather it’s the fact that I don’t want to do it. Have you ever asked yourself why? I believe they spend the kind of money they do on looking the way the do is because they want to appeal to the two basic desires listed above. They want to stand out, they want to leave a strong first impression and leave the customer or visitor with the impression that they are ‘good’. Secondly, they want people to feel special, like royalty. They want ordinary people to have the opportunity to enjoy ‘the good life’ for a weekend or two every year, and then they go back to their regular lives until their next ‘pie in the sky’ experience. My wife’s request of an indoor wall water fountain brings the feelings home that are brought to the surface when I experience a weekend at a hotel or resort mentioned above without jumping on the renovation band wagon. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying buy a wall mounted fountain and your troubles will melt away and you will become the envy of society. Seriously, consider a wall fountain or any indoor fountain for that matter because many have experienced real personal value in incorporating an indoor fountain within their home.
